The NW Potter's website was created to facilitate communication between small craft sailors in the Pacific Northwest region (Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and British Columbia), as well as to show off some of the activities of the top-notch sailors we have in the region. On this site you will find information about past and future sailing adventures, blogs from members about various sailing topics, links to other websites of interest to small craft sailors, galleries of photos, and more.
Even though the site was originally intended to be tailored specifically for West Wight Potter sailboat enthusiasts, the target of this site has been expanded to include all trailerable sailboats in the NW region. We have kept the name of the site for historical purposes.

This site is a successor to the original Northwest Potter site founded by Eric Johnson (P19 "Victoria") in 1996 and later joined with Tim Spofford (P19 "Inochi" and P15 "Grundoon") from about 2000, then more recently maintained by Derek Jensen (P19 "Hamada" and P15 "El Nino"). Thank you Eric, Tim and Derek!
