We have a West Wight Potter 19 No 1544 built around 2004
Because we have realized how much fun it is to just go sailing, we are leaving the boat on a slip more and more of the time. About a month at Lake Havasu, a month in San Diego, and now 4 months in Puget Sound.
So, we are going to put bottom paint on the boat, but want to ask this group for "crowdsourced" information:
Question #1: Is it necessary to apply an epoxy barrier coat before the applying the anti-fouling paint?
Question #2: Is there any history of gel coat blistering below the water line on WW Potters?
