New Sailors and Potter Owners

Hello!  I wanted to introduce myself and possibly create some contacts with people in the Northwest who own a potter.  My name is Andrew and I just purchased my first sailboat for the family.  We are brand new to sailing and love it so far!  I purchased a brand new West Wight Potter 19 from Ken at International Marine and couldn't be happier.  We spent a weekend on the water in Marina Del Rey California with ken and our new boat "Briar Rose".  It was an absolute blast!  We are in the Olympia Washington area and can't wait to get the boat on the Puget Sound.  I hope to hear from some of you and hear about your experiences owning a potter!

Hello Andrew

Sue and I sail Upepo, a 19-ft potter, on Puget Sound and Lake Union. We have owned Upepo for about 7 years, sailed it to Catalina three times, San Juan Islands, Yellowstone and Jackson Lakes WY. We usually launch at Shilshoal and at 14th Street ramp, and we would love to rendevous and sail with you this spring and sumer.
