What More Could One Ask For?

What makes for an ideal weekend Potter cruise? Wind? A lot of wind? how about a variety of challenging conditions, (and great comrades at the ready for encouragement and assistance if needed)? Warm weather and stunning scenery? Hot coffee on a cool morning, or ice for your bourbon as the sun sets? How about a movie projected onto the sail of a P19 or a few good stories sitting on the dock in the evening? Good sleep after a long day at the tiller?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The NW Potter outing to Jarrell Cove this last weekend featured all of these, and many other, opportunities for fun and learning as well. It was an incredible trip and yet only three boats participated.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Whether you're looking for experience on the water, an opportunity to meet some new friends, the security of companion boats on longer passages,  or just a little summer fun, why not show up for an upcoming Sail Event? Or better yet, organize one yourself. The member list is growing. Let's get involved. It would be great see you out on the water next time! Thanks to Tom Luque for organizing the Jarrell Cove Sail.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Tim Pattison .......    Dinghy sailor & former Potter owner.......
